Months Go By
The officers did about all they could do. They sent out a missing person’s report, checked all of the cameras inside the facility, and asked all of the staff members. They even took the time to ask each other the members of the retirement home if Edgar had told them anything before the day of his disappearance. Still, a month went by, and then another month. The officers had no more places to check for evidence, and thus, lost interest in the case, leaving it as an ongoing case. But Andrea refused to give up, and after two months, she and Valentina headed to Sweet Pine, hopeful to make another discovery—and this time, they’d do just that.
