Checking the Progress
Andrea and Valentina walked in, anxious and ready for any news. When Sally saw them, she gave them a sad smile and welcomed them inside. Sandra greeted them and led them inside for a cup of tea and a chat. “Ladies, I’m sorry, but we haven’t had any new discoveries. We’re, of course, happy to have you stop by, but we have no updates,” Sandra told them gently. “That’s okay. We simply wanted to come and do maybe one more sweep of the place, if that’s okay,” Andrea told her. Sandra agreed, and Andrea grabbed Valentina’s hand as they walked through the halls.
