Keep Ants Away
You should expect ants everywhere in a camp. They go for crumbs and might surprise you in your tent if you’ve eaten inside beforehand. While they’re not particularly a nuisance, sometimes ants bite, which could lead to uncomfortable red bumps. How to get rid of them? No, you don’t need to squash them with your fists or blow them away with your breath. Fill small containers with water and place them on table legs so ants won’t be able to climb and feast on your food. Another extreme measure is the use of Grits, the breakfast food. If you sprinkle some of it around ants, they’ll eat them and cause them to explode. Just use water and try not to leave some crumbs.
