You didn’t think you need cash during camping, right? Actually, you might or you might not. However, to be safe, it’s better to have some cash at hand. Why? Campsites are not usually free. If you’re a walk-in, you need to have some tangible nosh ready. Add the fees to go to particular roads or enter private areas, and you wouldn’t think twice about carrying cash in your wallets! If you’ve booked and paid for a campsite beforehand, it’s still best to have money in paper form as the world of camping is different, and you should expect the unexpected.
