A Tribute
Peter desired a hairdo that was a tribute to all of his childhood cartoons, as well as a look that resembled all of these characters.
In cartoons, square-shaped hair is the ideal hairdo, and everyone recognizes how timeless it is. I don’t think it was designed for a real person’s head, but he made it work.
