“I didn’t necessarily overhear anything but I pretended to fall asleep when I was about 12 because I heard someone coming into the room that my younger sister and I shared and thought it was my mom who would yell at me for being on my iPod at 2am.
Turns out it was a robber (with a crowbar), he just peeked into the room and went out when he saw us in there.
