For years now, Historians have studied the portrait of Napoleon, trying to decipher it. Every single details was studied, down to the symbolism that served as propaganda to depict Napoleon as the most powerful leader in the world.

But Napoleon’s odd stance is the painting’s most notable details. It’s strange because his right hand is tucked into his jacket. The pose would be depicted time and time again.
