Janet Mock
Janet Mock is known for being the first transgender woman of colour to be a writer on the TV series called Pose. She continued her success afterwards when she signed a 3-year contract with Netflix, making her the first black transgender to work with such a big studio.
She lacked representation while growing up and aimed to create stories that she had been in search of when she was younger.
