Benny Was Kind To Him
Arthur was acquainted with the proprietor of a neighborhood pawnshop. Benny, the man’s name, was always pleasant to him. Because of his looks, no other pawnshop owner gave him the time of day. Benny was contacted by Arthur, who displayed to him what he had discovered that day. Among the goods was the photograph he had acquired.
Benny felt sympathy towards Arthur and ensured that he bought something from him so that Arthur could afford a meal. Today, though, things would be extremely different.
