Taking Action
Ellis pulled over near the ddog. It was clearly disorientated and didn’t even seem to notice him as he hopped out. Ellis grabbed his water bottle and raced to the dog.
It was suffering signs of heat exhaustion, walking around in a zigzag, and barely able to hold up its head. He tried to get it to drink some of the water but cursed when he realized how hot the water had become in the heat. He needed a new plan, quickly.
