At first, Amy thought that she was imagining things. Surely Manny fell in love with her because of who she is, right? If that were true, why was he trying to control her and change her preferences? Manny would get upset if Amy did or said something that he didn’t like. Before long, she began to lie to him rather than tell him the truth. For example, she told Manny that she’d only been with two men when she has actually been with four times that number.
