It isn’t going to be a true trash polka tattoo unless it’s done at Buena Vista Tattoo Club in Germany. Volko Merschky & Simone Pfaff invented the form in 1998, composing the various elements of style (trash) into a single composition, like music (polka). Today, it’s practiced around the world, but there’s no reason not to get it done by the creators (except maybe the cost of that plane ticket).
