Thai menu translations can be strange or even creepy. It’s unclear if some restaurant owners understand the language or are actually cooking people. Maybe this eatery inspired the story of Hansel and Gretel. Perhaps a family wandered into a witch’s house, got fattened up, and were served in a dish. They seem to be oddly content about it.
