Martha devoted hours to unraveling the mess of Brianna’s hair, meticulously combing out all the tangles. The girl didn’t move much throughout it all, and Martha could tell her fear was still present.
While she tackled the tangles, Martha began to kindly ask Brianna about her life, but the girl wasn’t very talkative.
