Ancient Chapel Hidden Under Family Home
Pat and Diane Farla were startled to discover an underground chapel behind a six-foot-long rectangular plate on their wall at a Good Friday party in Shropshire, England. Unbelievably, they had never looked behind the plate in the three years they had owned the home. The cellar-like structure featured pews and a cross, and authorities think it may have been used long ago by worshippers escaping religious persecution during the turbulent times of England’s religious wars.
