$19 Million Qing Dynasty Vase In An Attic
While rummaging through their attic in France, a homeowners’ chance discovery of a gorgeously decorated porcelain vase brought them great fortune. Unbeknownst to them, the vase had been created during the Qing Dynasty, and was an extremely valuable antique. Its appraised value alone, estimated as being between $590,000 and $825,000, was the highest amount ever given for a piece of its kind. To their delight, the couple made a vast profit on the vase when it went for an astonishing $19 million after a heated auction.
