$15 Million Painting Found Behind Wall
The two brothers were sorting through their late father’s home when they uncovered an astonishing surprise within the walls; it was an original Norman Rockwell painting. This particular Rockwell was similar to a framed copy which occupied the wall right nearby. It was revealed that their father had discreetly concealed the authentic artwork while going through a divorce with his ex-wife. The painting labeled “Breaking Home Ties” stayed in the wall for years after their father had passed away, until it was brought to a Sotheby’s auction where it was sold for a whopping $15.4 million.
