WWI Soldier’s Love Letters Found In The Attic
Excavating his home, Phil Mathies had an amazing discovery: World War I love letters written in 1918, tucked safely into the attic wall. The letters, penned by Clement to his love Mary, gave a glimpse into the trauma people faced during the War. While Clement’s fate was uncertain, Phil was eventually able to track down his family who happily shared the news that he and Mary ended up together after the War.
