Tunnel System Found Under Home in Italy
In 2020, a homeowner in Southern Italy purchased a two-bathroom, six-bedroom house and was shocked to find a real-life Bat Cave below it. Although listed as “storage” and “dining room” on the deed plan, the subterranean system proved to span thousands of square feet with three levels. Much to his dismay, though, the house was infested with bats, making it difficult for the homeowner to explore the mysterious, creepy find.
