Underwater Stonehenge, Lake Michigan
While exploring the waters of Lake Michigan, archaeologists made an amazing discovery. With the help of remote sensors, they found a structure similar to Stonehenge located forty feet below the surface of Grand Traverse Bay. This is an incredible find as people still do not have an explanation for how the famous prehistoric structure at Stonehenge was built. In addition, the scientists also found a pier from the Civil War, as well as a number of sunken boats and automobiles.
