Underground Theater, Paris Catacombs
In August of 2004, while Parisian police were engaged in a training exercise, they made a startling discovery; a fully-equipped movie theater was found in a previously uncharted cave of the Catacombs. An amphitheater had been carved into the rock, and the room was filled with projection equipment, a cinema-sized screen, and a selection of thriller and noir films.
