After Steve’s improvement, his father’s death overshadowed the good things that were happening to the family. Then in 2014, the family was going to lose their home to foreclosure. They had to find a smaller home. Steve was now finding himself in a strange, tight place, where it was difficult to move with the wheelchair. However, they didn’t lose hope.
