Nobody knew whether Steve would have been able to improve after the first tough year. He couldn’t do anything on his own. But with the help of doctors, nurses and his family, he relearned how to be a normal person, to think, to swallow and to speak. One of the most important people that helped him go through this difficult time was his wife, Beth.
