The Sound Was Unusual
Jerry kept occasionally hearing the creature’s sound and following it as best he could. It was a very strange sound, unlike anything he had ever heard. It sounded like it was coming from another room somewhere, and all he was healing were echoes. Since there were no trails he could find, he had to track the culprit by sound alone, so he followed the sound as best he could.
