Getting To Safety
The vehicle pulled up in front of the main building. Out of it came several armed security men, assault rifles drawn and pointed the way they came.
“Get in now,” the man who had pulled Jerry into the vehicle ordered, indicating the open door of the building. Jerry didn’t need to be told twice. That dreaded sound he had run from underground could be heard now. And from the sounds, there were more of them this time.
Jerry entered the building without hesitation. The security personnel followed right after.
