Mike recognized he needed to move quickly when the infant became caught in the cot. He recognized that the home had already burnt down in half and that the other portion would soon follow. Mikes Hughes said, “I discovered the infant curled up in a cot in the bedroom.” He swiftly removed the infant from the cot and carried it outside. He had saved a baby who was nine months old.
