It’s still freezing outside
Perhaps there was something he hadn’t seen at first. Then he quietly opened the door and left. Even though it was still quite cold outdoors, the blizzard had passed, and a full moon meant that he could now see without his snow goggles. Mathew approached one of the sculptures and whipped snow off it with his sleeve.
