A few time later, the veterinarian himself entered the waiting area. Saying merely that Billy should wait his turn and telling him to wait here, the person hardly spoke the whole time. To say Billy was astonished and relieved would be an understatement. He had anticipated waiting at least an hour for assistance. How come he was now first on the list?
