If Smoochie wasn’t going to take care of her kittens, then Kitty would. The task needed to be done, and she determined she was up for it. Kitty was caring for the pups inside the trailer like they were her own. They looked up to her as if she were their own mother.
Incredible as it may seem, her body was still reacting to her own pregnancy, and being around these adorable pups triggered her maternal instincts. She gave the starving pups her breast milk, which her body continued to produce.
