The two families saw how nicely Kitty had been caring for the pups and concluded there was no danger in allowing her continue doing so. Besides, she seemed to be having fun. There was joy on both sides.
The two families’ relief at the resolution of the events of the preceding several weeks was palpable. Anne and Frank were really worried about their cat, but now that they’d discovered the pups, she appeared perfectly content.
