Brush With Death
John appeared in ‘Tiger King’, a hit documentary series on Netflix. He had a special bond with Bonedigger. He thought that the lion wasn’t a threat to any other animal or human.
He spoke about it more, stating, “That’s a risk you take working around 180 cats. You never know when it’s your time. But if I died, I would die doing something I loved.” At this point, John had already had his first brush with death which lead to him losing both of his legs.
