It felt surreal
Her heart was pounding in her chest as she watched Steve slowly approach the cave. She noticed that he was still holding the plastic bag and the flashlight – of course, this was what he had needed the lamp for… But she still couldn’t figure out what he was holding in the plastic bag.
The whole situation felt so unreal, she expected him to turn around, look at her and yell “Just kidding, gotcha!”, any moment, but of course, nothing like that happened.
