From Alabama
Lesleigh had grown to love the air, the vast fields, and especially the welcoming people of her hometown. She had spent her whole life in Alabama and now worked in a call center. She had married at a young age but couldn’t have children.
She now lived alone in a modest apartment after separating from her husband. Despite her age, she was used to doing everything on her own inside or outside the house. She did her shopping, too, but the middle-aged woman would never have thought that a trip to the shops would change her life.
