She had become a community pillar whereby everyone loved her. She had often volunteered in neighborhood organizations.
It was no surprise that everyone was shocked when the Walmart situation happened. They would never have thought she could do anything like that, and they didn’t believe the accusations. But it didn’t matter what they believed because she wasn’t let off the hook.
