At the auction, Always True naturally attracted a lot off interest. Hands flew up regularly as bid after bid followed. Mary did her best to stick with them. She was not losing this horse!
The price was already steep but Mary knew a winner when she saw one. Eventually, her determination paid off and she was able to get her girl with a winning bid of a little over $177,000.00 She never once considered that she was making a huge mistake.
