She Wasn’t There
As passengers disembarked, Robert scanned each face, hoping to see his beloved wife. He had been missing her, and he couldn’t wait to see her. Checking her flight status, he found that it had been delayed.
She was nowhere to be found when the last of the passengers left the plane, and Robert could feel his heart sinking into his stomach.
Was there something wrong with her? Did she miss her flight?
