Contentment
A deep sense of contentment settled over Robert as they pulled up to their house. Carol had returned to his life, and he was glad to have her back.
Once again, they hugged, Robert clutching the tulips like a symbol of their love. Upon entering the house, Robert immediately began preparing her favorite meal.
“I’m glad we’re spending our golden years together,” Robert told Carol as the night wore on.
