The chest was filled with pictures of Richard. There was a picture of him playing golf. A picture of him at their eldest daughter’s birthday party. A picture of Veronica’s and Richards’s wedding day. Personal pictures that nobody had access to apart from Veronica… and Richard. Her eyes start to fill up as feelings of nostalgia and heartbreak tickled up her spine.
