Opening The Chest
Veronica pulled at the chest’s lid, trying to open it up. She had to know what was inside. With one final tug, the lid swung open. At first, nothing seemed to be off. Inside the chest were bundles wrapped in plastic that concealed something rectangular. But when she took out the bundles and unwrapped them, her eyes widened in disbelief.
