The Beginning
Joanna felt helpless. The feeling had been undeniable and she knew now for a certainty that the storm would be bad, maybe be life-threatening.
She began pleading with the stewardess to listen but was met with growing irritation and even threats of being detained now if she didn’t “calm down”. The stewardess’s rejection of her warning was still fresh when suddenly, the storm began and the plane began to shake violently.
