Too Late
Tears streamed down her face as the plane shook again, “See, I told you this would happen.” The stewardess had on a face of ridicule just a moment earlier, but she wasn’t laughing now. She had a look of pure horror on her face.
She realized that Joanna was right. Her laughing had turned to beg. She was sorry that she hadn’t believed her. But now it was too late, and now everyone was in peril.
