Vindication
After five more minutes of what felt like a horror movie, the storm suddenly vanished. The plane stabilized, and everything appeared to be normal. Joanna smiled. She knew that having a good mindset could very well have saved them.
But what Joanna didn’t expect was the stewardess to come back, clearly rattled. She waited for her to ridicule her once more, but she said something entirely unexpected, “Ma’am, I’m sorry I didn’t believe you, and we’d like to make your trip with us free.” Joanna smiled again. She was vindicated.
