The Warning
The feeling was overwhelming and Joanna knew she had to tell someone. She was well aware that ordinary people tended to be very closed-minded to her gift.
She called the nearest stewardess, hoping the woman would be tolerant and receptive to what she had to say. The moment Joanna told her what she had felt, she recognized the stewardess’s attempt to hold back laughter. The situation had suddenly become a lot more urgent to Joanna.
