Forbidden
With one exception, Jemma and her brothers were allowed to roam the farm wherever they wanted. It was forbidden to enter the barn. In his words, it wasn’t used anymore and was dangerous to enter.
Jemma obediently followed her grandfather’s wishes without question.
She didn’t realize that her time at the farm was limited.
