Seeing It
It took a lot of effort for Jemma to push one of the hay bales to the side to see what was hidden. She assumed that the cellar door led deep underground.
Pulling on the old doors, she gulped. She was surprised to discover that they weren’t even locked. Now, she could see stairs leading down into the earth.
She would be swallowed by its darkness.
