Herman lived with his dog, Elsa, long before his engagement to Maria. He lived an uneventful life, but he was content. His mornings consisted of waking up, eating breakfast, and going on a run with Elsa.
After their run, he would have a cup of coffee while the pup rested before they made their way to work and doggy daycare. Things changed completely when Maria entered their lives.
