Made A Run For It
With urgency, Rebecca asked the receptionist if she’d spotted anything suspicious. She replied that an odd woman had left the salon a few minutes prior. She had tried to stop her, but the woman had shrugged her off and hurried off.
The realization that she had been fooled dawned upon the stylist. She felt tears streaming down her cheeks at the thought.
She requested the security footage from the building managers – the only evidence of what had really happened.
