A Repeat Occurrence
At this point, Rebecca was in a permanent state of anxious concern. She gave a detailed description of the scammer’s deceptive behavior.
In an effort to aid the police, she informed other salons in the area about the woman known as Melissa. Several other salons reported a scam artist who went by Melissa.
But when the police investigated further, the person they tracked down was never Melissa.
