High School Sweethearts
They were high school sweethearts. Tom had played in the school band and Laura was a cheerleader. All her life, her family and friends had expected her to go for the boys on the football and basketball teams, but Laura ended up choosing Tom.
He was everything she could’ve asked for in a romantic partner. She loved that he was funny and sweet, he had excellent grades, musical talent and he had a swimmer’s body. But she never expected that he would do such a terrible thing just eight years later.
