Early Morning
She was ready now, she gathered what she needed and made her way to the stable. It was early morning and it was quieter than usual. Usually, she could hear the loud bangs coming from afar.
Her area was at risk of destruction. She had to make the hardest decision of her life. She walked her horses to the edge of the forest and stood with them, crying her eyes out. She had to stop herself from turning back, but she knew in her heart that she had no other choice but to move forward.
